Did i ever mention video game music is great? because it really, really is.
Disclaimer: same as the last few times. I have a really basic grasp on what’s going on in MK verse, and there will be typoes and weirdness within.
kombat always throws me off. because I default to c. I do the same to shinnock’s name. is it not chinnock? no. It’s SHInock.
Though I still think the faces can get into that creepy uncanny valley zone of not quite fake enough, not quite real enough.
Takeda’s life plans just got thrown out of whack - everyone has family issues - and there’s so much he doesn’t know about his family life
What was that weird animated armor summoning ability?
And uh, glad he decided to get ride ofthat streak of camo across his face?

also when are they going realize that regular soldiers don’t really work well against the other people?

also what kinda hat is that? blade boomerangs are not in fashion

also it’s a really good thing they odn’t have to wory about bone chips or embolisms. no invasive hours long surgeru neede for these guys.

Hanzo has a bit of a one track mind, and really really really wants to get what he wants.
the statements for the MK fighters summons the liminal realm, doesn’t it? it does. and ends it
WTF is that guy doing in the little cage unit? I see the soldier dude is just poking away at the desk, but the other person? (This is about 1:48:52) are they dancing? caught in a time loop in the now-summoned fight-realm?
the whole throwing yourself at your opponent so that they both fall over thing is kinda weird, Sonya
and the whole i’m gonna break your skull open with my whip and use it to duck you head first into the ground so that your cervical vertebra shatter into itsy bitsy pieces? OOOOOOOOW. (fuck) I mean, they all just basically walk off their injuries anyway.
okay what is with that weird pruple glowing portal?

Wait, does that mean Subzero is in on this too? or at least passively agrees to the idea of Hazo’s revenge scheme.
the glowing spikes on quan chi’s back reminds me of those hell beast he rides in the netherrealm
and the glowing purple portal is explained as more people travelling in from a certain location, different glows for different places? wait, i wasn’t paying attention until i realized it glowed blue when Cassie and her team came back
oh oh oh, this is the best place to set up a joke about your princess being in another castle. or how about this isn’t the princess we’re looking for? sorry JC. In a more juvenile universe, where the stakes weren’t as high. Definitely.
