Summary: At a feast celebrating the newborn prince, twelve members of the Sun Court are gathered to give the boy boons, including a reluctant Aziraphale who would rather have remained in his tower with his books. When he’s finally about to give his boon and be rid of his duty, a thirteenth fae appears, Crowley of the Moon Court. Crowley curses the boy to eternal sleep, while Aziraphale manages to modify the curse to be broken by true love. The irate king expels all fae from his castle, leading to Aziraphale and Crowley meeting on the road.

Secretly, Crowley dislikes the curse that he was ordered to cast, and hopes that his adversary will find a way to break it, so they enter into an uneasy alliance to save the boy. Unfortunately, neither has much of an idea of what to do, and after eleven years mostly spent becoming closer, they’re out of time to find a solution. To make matters worse, after the prince remains well past his eleventh birthday, it becomes clear that the boy was switched, and now they have to locate the boy who has the curse. Can they find a solution to keep both boys safe?

How I Lost My Shit: As it turns out, having your main characters contribute absolutely nothing to the plot after the first five minutes is a good way to get stuck
How I Finished My Shit: I remembered how useful time skips are for fairy tales, so these idiots could only be implied to be doing nothing for eleven years (besides going on picnics and drinking together)

Summary: Lavellan and Dorian decided to stay together even after Dorian has to go back to Tevinter, although they both know that Lavellan has to stay away from there. They keep a long distance relationship, but both want more, and Dorian worries about Lavellan's mental state as he blames himself for not being able to stop Solas.

After some time, Lavellan realizes that, although Dorian can't stay away from Tevinter for too long, and Lavellan can't go to Tevinter, they can meet somewhere else that is close. It won't change the fact that they have to spend most of their time apart, but it might be enough to ease the acute way they're missing each other.

When I Started: this past March, but hear me out
How I Lost My Shit: I was playing this year’s Yahtzee at GYWO, and I started writing this for my first set of words, for the large straight combo (the five prompts in one connected story), but the division of the story in five parts wasn’t working so well, and I could either put their little get away house in a place that would make sense or have it be surrounded by pine trees, but not both. So I dropped it and wrote something else for the Yahtzee challenge.
How I Finished My Shit: I saved it from the graveyard of “works for challenges that no longer fit the challenge” where WIPs go to die and I reworked what I had (mostly the bits for the prompts anxious and grumpy, a bit of the part for musky, and spiritually the idea I had for apricity is there, but since I wasn’t following the prompt anymore I didn’t highlight it, piney is what was replaced entirely by beach vibes)
