Art: September Tale - My Mother's Child
Mar. 1st, 2013 06:41 pmThe chance to be inspired by Neil Gaiman was one I didn't feel like passing up. So, in a week, I read one of his 12 calendar tales, and let myself doodle away to my hearts content. The final due date for entries is Mar. 11, 2013, but I've never liked waiting till the last minute to complete things. The details for the 'contest' is HERE, as are the stories.
Here's my entry, at the size it was entered at, as well as the one set of process sketches I made. Since the images can get large, I've placed them both under cut.

Fanmix: All Those Damn Notes
Jan. 12th, 2013 04:21 pmI was feeling nostalgic for my high school band days, not that they're all that far behind me, if we're talking about the truth. I threw together a selection of pieces of songs that are part of the classic concert band repertoire, pieces I've attempted to play, and some that just caught my fancy.
