effect of the scene right after the summarization loses its punch when a bit of preview during a commercial gave the game away.
He knows he’s dreaming, and that dumb clown. What the hellfires? It’s just super creepy, I’m not sure what Sherlock’s subconscious is trying to tell him, but he’s aware he’s dreaming and I guess he’s working some things out I suppose.
So will Captain Dwyer eventually get axed? Eh, eh? (I am sorry for the pun)
And hey, the sensory deprivation chamber is creepy? IDK it’s like lying in a very very wet tin can
And the captain’s awake!!!!
There’s a lot of forgiveness going around on both sides between Capt Gregson and Sherlock – they’ve really worked it out quickly.
The truck driver is having such a good time…
Please no car crash, or rather, no crash into the pedestrians… or uh, you know. No exploding after crashing into the truck. O.o Now I need to ask – what is in that trailer truck?

At least one of the agents called in is still willing to help? Sort of? She says that given the traffic lights, it could be linked with a different case of streetlight jacking. And also insider hint that Mara Trés is not in a good a position as it could be, and may implode
So the light hacking, the van was the victim? Not the perp

And more on Meers, tracing his footsteps before he’d shot the captain. It’s not likely he’ll turn on a partner, tbh. Since he’s already gone so far

Terrorism is a trigger for Meers, I doubt he’s rational about it. Or the actions he does around it either to avoid the label, or stop what he believes to be activities done with that label

What is it with construction companies and Elementary having seriously shady sides, either in the people, their practices, or otherwise? Bidding wars are dangerous
And the second place company for the construction firm’s next job (tick tock tick tock) shares a name with the DOT guy who Marcus met
From the timeline, Patrick is likely in his late thirties? Since 9/11 was in 2001, and he was in high school then (ages 13 – 18, possibly 19)
Aw man, video game chats – 1 contact. R00kr3d (I’m assuming the vowels are all numbers)
And the DOT guy is dead, as revenge, thanks to a anonymous tip. And the Mara Trés are now pulling free cleanup for whoever was pulling the strings
Marcus and Sherlock, spinning stories from the threads in order to go after the guy in charge of this mess – fake news! Or rather, sales info via a corporate spy….

So Gregson is in the loop on the possible terror cell and advising to keep chipping at it to figure it out.
Oh hey, Meer’s wife knows more than she’s willing to let on, though she’s worried about the kids. Did we ever get her name? Her face when she gets the number to call, I suppose she's really worried about her family, sure. But she and Joan never really did get on much at all, didn't they?
Ugh, ugh why Joan, why? Though they don’t quite know her network and partners yet, do they? I said it before, and I’ll say it again, that will definitely bite the group/Them in the ass. As long as Gregson, Sherlock and Marcus (plus whoever and whatever resources they have at their disposal) knows. Of course, if They dig, and I’m sure they will – they’ll know. Hmm.
More Reuben and the Dark! I like this band, though I don’t go out of my way to find their stuff
7x05 is called Into the Woods, like the Sondhiem musical? That just reminds me that Lucy Liu was at the Tonys. What fun!
I’m missing next week’s live airdate because I’ll be away. Sucks, but at least it’s streamable online later.
